We are pleased to advise that Clarivate have organised the following **free** webinars, scheduled in April:

  • Friday 8th April at 3.00pm – A continuing evolution in journal intelligence (60 minutes) (NOTE: re-arranged webinar - originally scheduled Wednesday 30th March)
  • Wednesday 13th April at 3.00pm – Accelerate your research with open data (60 minutes)
  • Wednesday 27th April at 3.00pm – Clarivate solutions to develop your rankings strategy (60 minutes)
  • Thursday 28th April at 3.00pm – How Web of Science data can support library collection management (60 minutes)

Title: A continuing evolution in journal intelligence
The ongoing rise in scholarly output, the changing market dynamics driven by open research and the constantly changing stakeholder expectations make it more important today than ever to rely on journal intelligence tools. Join this session to learn about how our transparent, publisher-neutral data and statistics will help you make confident decisions in today’s evolving scholarly publishing landscape, whether you’re submitting your first manuscript or managing a portfolio of thousands of publications.

Title: Accelerate your research with open data
Data Citation Index (DCI) – hosted within Web of Science – provides a single point of access to quality research data from repositories across disciplines and around the world. Data Citation Index allows researchers to discover and access relevant research data, cite them properly or measure their impact. If you are a current user of DCI, or if you would like a demonstration to assess this database, this session is for you. The Clarivate trainer will guide you through the essential features you need to know to get started.

Title: Clarivate solutions to develop your rankings strategy
A new classification for Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) – called Shanghai GRAS – is now available in InCites Benchmarking & Analytics. This new classification is based on the mapping of Web of Science categories to the 54 academic subjects according to the GRAS methodology. Join the session to learn more about how Clarivate solutions, data and services can be used to support your university rankings strategy.

Title: How Web of Science data can support library collection management
Managing library collections is an ongoing and ever-changing process. Join this webinar to keep up to date and find out how Web of Science tools, including Master Journal List, Journal Citation Reports and InCites, can help you manage your collections and identify the most impactful journals for your institution.
