New Web of Science Platform - Updates and Webinar Reminder

We are pleased to advise that Clarivate have announced that Web of Science users are now automatically taken to the *New* Web of Science platform as the default. All customers have been able to preview the new interface since November 2020 and all key functionality is now available. Clarivate have been listening to user feedback to make enhancements – bringing to the platform a personalised and intuitive user experience with:

  • The Web of Science Author Impact Beamplots
  • Enriched Cited References (Beta)
  • Funding data
  • Share a search query
  • Advanced search workflow
  • Export Citation Report
  • Export into RIS reference format
  • Article recommendations

Please note: Dual access to both the new Web of Science and the classic Web of Science is available. If a user wishes to navigate back to the classic interface, they can do so by selecting Web of Science (Classic) from the Products dropdown menu in the upper right-hand corner in the top header. Clarivate have not set a firm date to decommission the classic interface. They will monitor customer feedback and new Web of Science usage to confirm users’ needs are met before completing the transition to new Web of Science.
