Retiring support of Internet Explorer 11 on May 31, 2021
Web of Science products, including InCites Benchmarking and Analytics, Essential Science Indicators and Journal Citation Reports, will be removing support for Internet Explorer 11 on May 31, 2021. Ending support for Internet Explorer 11 will allow the Clarivate engineering teams to use modern web practices to improve performance and user experience as they continue adding new features with each release. Although the Web of Science and InCites will continue to be available in Internet Explorer 11, new functionality may not work, and any issues will not be fixed. If you are currently using Internet Explorer 11, Clarivate strongly recommend that you switch to Microsoft Edge or another supported browser.

What’s new and coming up in InCites

  • *New* Updated Geographic map visualisation - Users can now zoom in, select (and highlight) a country, and export the selected country in an image or pdf format.
  • *New* Unique ID search - This new option allows you to copy-paste and filter on several Web of Science Researcher IDs and ORCIDs in the same search box.
  • *Coming up* Percentile Indicators - Scheduled on May 28, this data release will align the Percentile in Subject Area and Average Percentile indicators in InCites to the standard definition where 0 is worst and 100 is best. This change will also affect the Percentile field in the InCites API and will further align the data displayed in InCites with the recently released Web of Science Beamplots visualization.
