Dear List Members,

I hope you are keeping well given the current circumstances.

You might already be familiar with Clarivate’s free browser plugin Kopernio, which provides users with one-click access to scholarly content. Since joining Clarivate nearly two years ago, Kopernio has grown to over 500,000 users worldwide - and many of your patrons may already be using it to streamline their discovery process.

The data generated during this usage reveals important insights into how resources - both subscription and open access - are being used. By anonymising usage and aggregating at an institutional level, Kopernio can reveal unique insights into the demands for content, as well as how that demand is being met. This might be via traditional subscription holdings, or via freely available open access options - both of which are facilitated by the end-user plugin. By combining this usage with the powerful datasets of Web of Science, we’re able to provide additional analysis, while also exposing the underlying data for your use.

Today we’re excited to offer all eligible Web of Science customers early access to the Kopernio Institutional Dashboard (KID). This is a free beta, so we will be continuing to develop and refine the features of the service based on the feedback we receive.
