Information on Single Sign On - Web of Knowledge/EndNote Web - Shibboleth.

Date of news item: 14 March 2012.

It is now possible to Log in to Web of Knowledge/EndNote Web with Shibboleth and automatically sign in to a Web of Knowledge/EndNote Web personalised ID account (email address user-names), so that a user does not have to log-in twice. Once using Shibboleth (into WoK/EndNote Web) and then again (using their different account ID) to the users personalised WoK/EndNote Web settings.

If you are interested in this option for your institution, and your Shibboleth set up releases a unique persistent attribute when users log in, you would need to submit an updated Thomson Reuters 'SHIBBOLETH SETUP REQUEST FORM' at:

The option is located near the bottom of the form and you will need to provide the attribute identifying a unique persistent attribute for single sign on, that will be used to link a users Shib login to the Web of Knowledge/EndNote Web personalisation account ID, e.g. Unique Attribute= eduPersonTargetedID
