Maintenance - Upgrade, Monday, 2 May - Web of Science 5.21.1 Release.

Please be advised that there will be a release of Web of Science 5.21.1 on Monday, 2 May.

Thomson Reuters advise that they do not expect to have any outages or downtime during the release. However they wish to advise users that as they are conducting scheduled maintenance there may be intermittent access at this time. Maintenance Window = 13:30 BST to 15:30 BST. Thomson Reuters apologise for any inconvenience due as a result.

Web of Science Features Release Summary:

The upgrade will support improved navigation between Web of Science and the InCites platform (hosting InCites, ESI, and JCR) for customers when authenticating to Web of Science.

With regards to the navigation paths:

  • Global header in WoS environment/platform link from Web of Science to InCites ESI and JCR
  • Deep links to InCites ESI
  • Search Results > Highly Cited Paper
  • Search Results > Hot Paper
  • Full Record > Highly Cited Paper and/or Hot Paper
  • Deep links to InCites JCR
  • Search Results > Journal Popup
  • Full Record > Journal Information
