Maintenance Notice : 26th March ResearcherID and 29th March Personalisation Login

Thomson Reuters have advised of the following maintenance occurring this week:

Expected Maintenance Dates and Times.

Thursday 26th March 2015 - update to ResearcherID

  • Maintenance Window = 8:00 PM, GMT to 10:00 PM, GMT.
  • Expected Downtime* = There will be no expected downtime or outage to ResearcherID as a result of the update with minimal impact to users.
  • The upgrade will include a change in look and feel (to be in alignment with Web of Science) as well as integrating the latest ORCHID schema. Please note that because of the update to the user interface, users may be required to clear their cached browser data to ensure they are using the newest interface elements.
  • In addition to an update to the user interface, ResearcherID has been updated to support the latest version of the ORCID XML schema (version 1.2), which includes supporting ORCID's requirement for an external identifier for all works. More details here:
  • When sending publications to ORCID from ResearcherID, Thomson Reuters now include an "external identifier", as well as, where applicable, a URL to access the corresponding Web of Science record.

Sunday, March 29th 2015

  • Minor disruption to the 'Personalisation login' (TR registered email address and password accounts), for Web of Science, EndNote Online, ResearcherID, and InCites. Users previously logged in are not expected to experience any issues, however during the downtime users will be unable to login to the applications using these accounts. Thomson Reuters apologise for any inconvenience due as a result.
  • Expected Downtime* = 30 minutes.
  • Maintenance Window = 1:00 PM, BST to 4:00 PM, BST.
