Web of Science links to JSTOR

09 January 2006

We are pleased to announce that subscribers to both the ISI Web of Knowledge Service for UK Education and JSTOR can now link directly from the Web of Science to full-text articles in the multidisciplinary JSTOR Scholarly Journal Archive.

Although Web of Science already incorporates substantial links to full text, this new tie-in with JSTOR content will boost linkage to content from a wider range of articles, including those in arts and humanities journals.

To request direct linking

The service is now active and any academic site currently subscribing to WoK and JSTOR (any collection) can send an email to the WoK Helpdesk at wok@mimas.ac.uk requesting direct linking to be enabled, please include details of the JSTOR Collections in which you currently participate with your request.

Once these FREE links have been enabled this will result in a small 'full-text' button being displayed next to individual articles that are included in WoK, where the full article is available within (their collection(s) in) JSTOR.

If you require any further information or assistance please email the Web of Knowledge helpdesk at: wok@mimas.ac.uk
