Enhancement update – Links – PNAS, JCR. ISI Highly Cited Com Training Service extended until 31/01/02

MIMAS are pleased to inform you of the following enhancements which are now active.

FREE links from WoS to Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS) have now been enabled for all institutions.

For an example you may like to try a Full Search – General Search entering
GLUT4 and RAB5 and protein
in the TOPIC box and ticking Title only.
Search will retrieve 1 hit which will link to the ISI WoS full article record and display the Full Text button leading to PNAS online displaying the full text. Lots of other useful links are also included here.

JCR Link Button

The JCR link button has also been enabled for institutions that subscribe for the ISI JCR Science Edition – Social Science Edition or both.

ISI WoS articles – Full Record will now have a JCR link button visible to the user to link to the JCR information when applicable.

ISI Highly Cited Com

Our home page at: http://wos.mimas.ac.uk/ also includes a link listed under Related Products to ISI Highly Cited Com all users have access to this free service (you may however need your Athens username and password to use the links to ISI WoS within this service if prompted). Access directly at: http://www.isihighlycited.com/.

In addition ISI have offered continued access to the training service which should have ended on the 31st December 2001 pending the review of the ISI WoS service use by the MAU and JISC and will remain available until the 31st January 2002 when a further announcement will be made.
