ISI Web of Science Service for UK Education – Upgraded

20 April 2001

MIMAS and ISI are delighted to announce that the ISI Web of Science Service for UK Education has been upgraded today, Friday 20th April, on schedule.

Details of all the enhancements which have been implemented can be found in the WoK news item dated 20 September 2000.

The most significant of these enhancements are as a direct result of user's feedback, which were forwarded to the Web of Science Enhancement Committee (WoSEC). On the WoSEC are ISI, JIBS, MIMAS, JISC, CHEST and MAU.

Fully revised documentation has been produced and is now available on our website at: http://wos.mimas.ac.uk/documentation.html

As previously announced, a series of regional updates are being run by our collagues from John Rylands University Library throughout the UK in May, see: http://wos.mimas.ac.uk/training_courses.html

Please be aware that the MIMAS release was given the highest priority amongst ISI's many international customers and scheduled to immediately follow the reload of ISI's internal databases. The UK community are the first in the world to have access to this upgraded intranet version.
